30th May – Hands That Talk for the Deaf community

You are invite to a consultation in Roe Park Resort in Limavady on Thursday 30th May 1pm – 5pm.

Lunch will be served at 1pm and afterwards we will meet with the Deaf community to see

  • what their views are on Hands That Talk.
  • We’ll look at what we do now, what we stand for and what we should be doing in the future.
  • We’ll be looking at the needs of the Deaf community and asking if their needs have changed, if so what can HTT do in the future to help.

DCID project

Dear Friends,

Signature is a partner in the Deaf Communication Infrastructure Development (DCID) Project, which includes as partners several organisations who have been working together in a cross-border initiative to offer training opportunities that will improve access to public services for Deaf people who use British or Irish Sign Language. The partnership was funded through its lead partner, EGSA, which unfortunately went into formal administration in February leaving Signature no way of claiming the costs of running the project.

Fit 4 U Project

The Fit 4 U Project is funded by the Public Health Agency and led by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust (Councils – Dungannon & South Tyrone, Armagh City & District, Craigavon, Banbridge and Newry & Mourne) in partnership with other organisations.

It aims to empower people with physical/sensory disabilities to improve their health through participation in a range of physical activity and leisure opportunities.
