Deaf Parkrun Summer 2017

Northern Ireland Deaf Sports:  We are delighted to announce that Deaf park run will be running this summer- starting this Saturday 3rd June 2017.

A schedule of Deaf parkrun (see attachment) had been created for all abilities such as runners, new to running or try out parkrun.

This an opportunity for Deaf people to meet together to share experiences, try out parkrun and try out a different routines.

We are covering a wide range of location where there are Deaf runners who attend their own parkrun regularly.

You all are welcome to come along to participate or watch and cheer on us.

Independent Assessors


CPANI is seeking applications from people interested in becoming Independent Assessors. These are individuals who sit on the departmental selection panels convened to appoint the Chairs and members of our public bodies.

25th April – Information event with WHSCT & Action on Hearing Loss

Action on Hearing Loss: If you are deaf or have a hearing loss or tinnitus and live in the West of NI then come along to an information event on Tuesday 25th April 2017 from 2-5pm at the Silverbirch Hotel in Omagh, sponsored by Western HSC Trust.

We’ll be there along with the British Deaf Association, National Deaf Children’s Society, British Tinnitus Association, Cedar Foundation, Leonard Cheshire, Deafblind NI, SENSE (NI), Hearing Link and Action Deaf Youth. See you there!
